The Create Asset feature allows you to add new assets to your Royalti workspace. By filling out all the necessary details, you can manage your assets more efficiently. Here’s a detailed guide to help you through the process:


Log In

Log in to your Royalti.io Workspace with your credentials.

Navigate to the Asset Page

  1. On the sidebar menu, click on the "Roster" dropdown.

  2. Select "Assets" to access the Assets page.

Open the Add Asset Panel

  1. On the top-right corner of the Assets page, click the "Add Asset" button.

  2. A right-side panel will slide open for adding a new asset.

Input Basic Asset Details

  1. In the right panel, fill in the following fields:

    • Title (Required): Enter the title of the asset.

    • Display Artist: Specify the artist name to be displayed.

    • Main Artist: Add the main artist associated with the asset.

    • Version: Indicate the version of the asset (if applicable).

    • ISRC (Required): Provide the International Standard Recording Code for the asset.

    • Asset Type: Select the type of asset from the dropdown menu.

Note: Both the Title and ISRC must be unique.

Add Additional Details

  1. After completing the first section, click the "Next" button to proceed.

  2. In the next panel, input the following details:

    • Main Genre(s): Add the primary genre(s) of the asset.

    • Sub Genre(s): Include sub-genres for more specific classification.

    • ISWC: Provide the International Standard Musical Work Code, if applicable.

    • External ID: Enter any external identification numbers.

    • Contributors: Add contributors who worked on the asset.

    • Metadata Fields: Include additional metadata fields as needed.

Save the Asset

Once all required and optional fields are completed, click the "Save" button to finalize and save the asset.

Required fields

The following are required fields when creating a new Asset:

  • Main artist(s)

  • Asset title

  • ISRC

After these fields have been filled, click 'Save' to finish.

  • Asset type (audio, video)

  • Genres
