A

Assets
Digital files or resources associated with a musical work, such as audio files, cover art, lyrics, or metadata. Assets are essential for distribution and royalty tracking.

Addons
Optional features, extensions, or enhancements that users can integrate into the platform to extend its functionality. Add-Ons are designed to customize the user experience and provide additional capabilities tailored to specific business needs.

Analytics
Data-driven insights and reports generated by the workspace, such as streaming performance, royalty earnings, audience demographics, and revenue trends. Analytics help users make informed decisions about their music.

API Keys
Unique codes used to authenticate and authorize access to the Royalti.io’s API (Application Programming Interface). API keys enable developers or third-party services to interact with the Royalti.io programmatically.

Accounting
Financial management features within the Royalti.io, including royalty statements, payment histories, tax documentation, and revenue summaries. Accounting tools help users track and manage their earnings.


B

Beneficiary
A feature that allows users to manage recipients for transactions. Users can add, edit, or remove beneficiaries, as well as view details of past transactions associated with each beneficiary.


C

Catalog
A collection of musical works (songs, albums, or compositions) owned or managed by a user. The catalog includes metadata such as track titles, ISRC codes, release dates, and ownership details.

Checklists
Predefined or customizable task lists within the Royalti.io to ensure users complete essential steps, such as uploading assets, setting up splits, or verifying royalty statements.

Files
A centralized section within the app where users can access all uploaded and downloaded files. This includes documents, reports, invoices, and other file types related to transactions, royalty data, or account management.

Integrations
Connections between the music royalty app and third-party platforms (e.g., JosPlay, VertoFx, Spotify for Artists, YouTube Content ID, PROs) to automate data import, royalty tracking, and reporting.

Products
Digital or physical items created from musical works, such as streaming tracks, downloads, vinyl records, or merchandise. Products are tied to royalty-generating activities.

Revenue
Income generated from the use of musical works, including streaming royalties, download sales, sync licensing fees, and performance royalties. Revenue is calculated and distributed based on splits and agreements.

Roster
A feature within the Royalti.io that manages the list of users and artists available in a workspace. The Roster allows administrators to add, remove, or update user roles, permissions, and artist profiles, ensuring efficient collaboration and access control.

Royalty Sources
Platforms or services that generate royalties, such as streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music), digital stores (iTunes, Amazon Music), performance rights organizations (PROs), or sync licensing deals.

Splits
The division of royalty payments among rights holders (e.g., artists, songwriters, producers, labels) based on agreed-upon percentages. Splits are defined for each musical work and applied during royalty calculations.

Wallet
A dedicated section within the Royalti.io where users can manage multiple currency wallets and track transactions. The wallet provides an overview of balances, transaction history, and currency conversion options.

Workspace
A dedicated environment within the Royalti.io where users can manage their music catalog, royalty data, and team collaborations. Workspaces can be customized for individual artists, labels, or distributors.
